CONTRIBUTING is an excellent way to build on your talents and your portfolio.
Apart from ‘Writer In The Spotlight’, there are many ways to contribute because only you can decide how committed you are. Contributing helps us, other writers and you. You can be a Basic Contributor, a Team Member or a New Irish Writers Expert.
Contributors: If you are interested in contributing an advice article to our website here are some things you need to know:
You can contribute as frequently or infrequently as you like. Articles can even be a once off. Articles can be on any aspect of writing from poetry to journalism or copyright law to getting published. Not all articles will be published and articles may be subject to a some editing.

Team Members: If you are interested in becoming a Team Member please read the above section on Contributors before you read this section:
Team Members have no deadline’s either, as we know you have other commitments. However, we do expect Team Members to contribute as regularly as they can. After all, articles shouldn’t be a chore and don’t always have to be very long. Not all articles will be published and articles may be subject to a some editing. Only Team Members have the chance of becoming New Irish Writers Experts.

New Irish Writers Experts: Becoming a New Irish Writers Expert isn’t easy, but if you think you have what it takes, you’d better read the above sections first, followed by this section:
Team Members contributions have to be fairly regular, consistently well written and helpful to readers before they can become an Expert.
Experts name and picture will be shown on our website along with the field of writing in which we feel their expertise lies, i.e. Jane Bloggs, Journalism Expert.
Occasionally, questions about that field of writing from readers will be forwarded to the experts email, but only when we feel that you’re expertise is needed to better answer the readers question.
